This is a series of vector illustrations of a dog on a journey around the world. I was inspired by Laika, the first dog in space, which inspired the first drawing of the dog in a rocket ship. I continued the theme by illustrating the dog in different locations, all transportation inspired. I began by sketching with graphite and then created my vector illustration using a combination of tablet and mouse drawing. I incorporated paper texture and a variety of brushes to add a retro feel.
