Varsity Group is an advertising and marketing company based in Des Moines, Iowa. They sell advertising space at high school gyms and stadiums across the Midwest. Varsity also offers many different products that can be customized for schools’ athletic departments. During my time as the sole graphic designer for Varsity Group, I created a variety of promotional materials. These included flyers, brochures, business cards, digital presentations, and LED advertising slides. Using the existing logo and branding colors, I kept a consistent sporty yet clean feel across all the designs. Using bold serif fonts paired with dark backgrounds and eye-catching images of adolescent athletes, the designs produced a modern look while connecting viewers with their local high school athletics teams.
